Giving staff cards solves a real problem: the person standing in a hardware shop should not be paying out of pocket and waiting for reimbursement. It creates a different one, which is that spending decisions get made by people who are not looking at the budget.

Ramp handles the controls — limits, categories, receipt capture. What it cannot do is know that a £60 purchase on Tuesday relates to the shower repair at Church Street, because that connection lives in your operations rather than your finance stack.

Connecting Ramp supplies it. ProhostAI can match spend to the job that prompted it, so per-property costs stay honest and an unusual charge can be questioned while the person who made it still remembers why.

Once Ramp is connected, ProhostAI can look up cards, spend and transactions in plain language.

Ramp connects through OAuth against your account, so ProhostAI never sees your password.

1. Open ProhostAI and go to Settings → Connections.
2. Search for Ramp and select Connect.
3. Sign in to Ramp and approve the permissions.
4. Ask what has been spent this month to confirm the connection works.

• Ramp stays the system of record for cards, limits and approvals.
• ProhostAI reads spend and helps attribute it; card controls remain in Ramp.
• Attribution works best when jobs and properties are recorded in ProhostAI, since that is what a transaction gets matched against.
• Revoking ProhostAI in Ramp’s settings ends access immediately.
