Hostaway is a distribution and operations platform: it keeps listings, rates and availability correct across Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com and your own site, and it does that well enough that most operators using it stop thinking about channels entirely.

What it hands you instead is a single stream of guests from many places, all asking questions. A hundred properties across four channels generates a message volume that scales linearly with the portfolio, and it is the one part of the operation that has resisted every efficiency the rest of the stack gained.

Connecting Hostaway puts an AI on that stream. Reservations and conversations sync across, replies come from the details of the actual booking, and anything that genuinely needs judgement is escalated to your team with the whole thread attached rather than discovered later in a backlog.

The operational half follows automatically. A confirmed booking becomes a clean on the calendar and tasks for whoever handles turnovers, so the gap between "Hostaway says someone arrives Friday" and "the property is ready on Friday" stops depending on somebody noticing.

Hostaway connects with API credentials generated in your Hostaway account, so ProhostAI never sees your password.

1. In Hostaway, generate API credentials from Settings → Hostaway API.
2. Open ProhostAI and go to Settings → Connections.
3. Search for Hostaway, select Connect, and paste the credentials.
4. Wait for the first sync, then check your listings and upcoming reservations look right.

• The first sync takes a few minutes on a large portfolio; reservations arrive before the full message history.
• Turn Autopilot on gradually — one property or one message type first — so you can judge the AI’s tone before it covers everything.
• Disconnecting in ProhostAI stops the sync and changes nothing in your Hostaway account.
